A vegvísir (Icelandic for sign post or wayfinder) is an Icelandic magical stave intended to help the bearer find their way through rough weather. And to protect them.
The guitar on the picture has 24 medium frets on an ebony fretboard, set-in( glued construction), mahogany body and neck. If someone doesn´t like the floating tremolo, I used to recommend always string thru body cinstruction. As a final solution if not even Evertune required. This leads to a real long sustain, which is necessary for electric guitars.High gloss black. I like to work and use runes always if I can, so this work was a cool challenge to put them all over the guitar.
Ditlef wanted to have an easy access to higher frets and more rounder shapes. As always any order, was shipped with printed hardcase, Certification of Authority using personal, own serial#, t-shirt, pic and Ragnarök lanyard. In future we´ll upgrade it even with patches.
Graph Tech Ratio tuners, saddle and Resomax bridge, EMG 81/85 classic combo.
The guitar was delivered to its owner, Ditlef Svae under Imperium Festival, 2019 July in Halden/ Norway. To bring light in the darkest, black night.
